What changes in httpd.conf did you make and where did you place your cgi script with what name and suffix?

if you are trying to run perl scripts (probably), you must also download Perl from  After it is installed, it should be pretty easy to get it working.

In httpd.conf, just edit a few lines and it'll work. first, put:
ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ "F:/htdocs/cgi-bin/"

in there (but change the location to wherever your cgi-bin is located).

you should also uncomment the line:
AddHandler cgi-script .cgi

you should be all set.
