The reason I can't answer this question is cause I do not have VB, any one with VB should be able to give me a quick answer.

Outlook Item
 Description

AppoinmentItem
An appointment in a Calendar folder, which can be a meeting, one-time appointment, or recurring appointment or meeting.

The follwing are constants for the outlook application

olContactItem
olJournalItem
olMailItem
olNoteItem
olPostItem
olTaskItem

this is the start of a sub routine:

    Dim ol As New Outlook.Application
    Dim ns As Outlook.NameSpace
    Dim appt As Outlook.AppointmentItem

'Return a reference to the MAPI layer
    Set ns = ol.GetNamespace("MAPI")

'Create a new mail message item
    Set appt = ol.CreateItem(olAppointmentItem)

I want to know what the integer value of olAppointmentItem is.

I also want a list of integer values for the above list of items.

Thanks
bert.

You can find out these values very easily. E.g. to find out what the value is for olContactItem just do

Msgbox Outlook.olContactItem

etcetera

Debug.Print Outlook.olContactItem
Debug.Print Outlook.olJournalItem
Debug.Print Outlook.olMailItem
Debug.Print Outlook.olNoteItem
Debug.Print Outlook.olPostItem
Debug.Print Outlook.olTaskItem

Thanks for the help, unfortunately I do not have access to  a design mode to do what you suggested:

Msgbox Outlook.olContactItem

Cheers,
Bert.

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

Sorry, when you said you didn't have VB I thought you meant you weren't familiar with VB. But... if you haven't got VB what's the point in you looking at the subroutine?

...anyway - I printed off the values for you. If you don't mind, next time, before you accept an answer with a "B", ask for further information first. I'll try to give answers worthy of an "A" ;-)

Hm, I am coding in Delphi, but true to form this whole world revolves around microsoft, and I can only get hold of VB samples... thus I need the const values and not the keywords...

A "B" , well it was a simple question... so not too many points for that effort..
thanks any way.
Bert.

I agree that it was a very simple question. It would have warranted less than 50 points - perhaps 25 or even 10. But the answer was exactly what you asked for. When someone gives you a perfect answer, you reward it with an "A".

Anyway, it's your question and you're the final judge in the matter so I'll shut up now :)
