IDE AND SCSI Together

I have a IDE Hard Drive and I want to connect a scsi drive as a slave drive. Esstentially, I have installed the Scsi, and the system can see it (Win NT - control Panel SCSI Apdater, but it does not appear as a drive in my computer? ANy sugesstions!!!

Open the NT Disk Manager and you should see it as unformatted and unpartitioned space.  Partition it there and then format the partition.  After that it will be accessible.

One more thing, however.  It's possible that you may need to use a low level format utility that came with your SCSI adapter to first format the drive.  Check your SCSI controller manual.
