When converting from Corel 8 for PC to Macintosh 3.5, the table borders do not convert. Is there a way around this?

MacLinkPlus Deluxe from DataViz can properly convert your WordPerfect file (Corel is the name of the company, btw, WordPerfect is the name of the program) to the format you require.

MacLink plus is installed and it doesn't work. If the document opens, the table is gone and you have just text. Sometimes the document doesn't open and just the application will open and a -34 disk full error appears.

What version of MacLinkPlus are you running? The WordPerfect translator is a fairly new addition to the bundle. If you don't have the latest version (10.something) upgrading may help. Alternately, you could try translating the file to a more common format. When "direct" translations fail this often works. For example, I had a problem with translating WriteNow to MS Word 6.0 files; after opening the resulting files in Word 98 (this was before the Word 98 translator was available) the computer would freeze when attempting to do a SAVE or SAVE AS. Using MacLinkPlus to convert the WriteNow files to Rich Text Format (RTF) retained 99% of the formatting and resulted in perfectly openable/workable files. You may want to try the same thing since pretty much every word processor supports RTF.
