How to protect Individual Folders?

Does anyone knows how can i make one entire folder (everything below) read-only or password write protect?

What i want is just limit the use of my computer.

I have WIN98

JM, try this:

1. Go into the Control Panel and click on the Network Icon, then click on the File and Print Sharing icon.

2. Check the "I want to be able to give others access to my files" and then click OK. This will require your Win98 CD.

3. Once the appropriate files have been loaded and the system restarts, you're ready to deal with the folders.

4. Open Windows Explorer, scroll to the folder you wish to protect. Right click on the folder and then choose properties.

5. Now setup the sharing and passwords as you see fit.
