autocad 14: resizing 3d objects

I'd like to be able to use a command like stretch (see manual), but that doesn't work on 3d objects. The helpfile doesn't seem to tell me (or i'm blind) how to do so. Scale works on 3d objects, but I don't know how to calculate the factor for that. More importantly; it will resize it in every dimension. What I like about stretch is that it can take one 'side plane', and 'move' that..

I know what you mean, however AutoCAD doesn't let you do that, the best thing I can suggest is create another solid and the union the two solids to get it the size you want, or if you want to make it smaller create another solid and use that to subtract from the first to get it the way you want.
