Appending to path using regedit or regedt32?

How can you APPEND to an existing path in NT4, using regedt32 or regedit?

Registry key is located at:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Environment

Edit the entry for Path.

Does that answer your question?  Or are you looking for a way to read the current path and add to the end of it?

Read current and append to the system path.
There is an app on the NT4 Server Resource Kit called 'pathman' which, I believe, will do what you want.

It's not regedt32 or regedit, but...

(Using the Registry editor would involve exporting the value of the Path key, reading it, adding a new value, and rewriting it.  I think the only way that could be done would be a big batch file.  I suspect that's pretty much what pathman does.)
