Figure out what chip is on your graphics card. For example, my STB Velocity 128 has a Riva128 chip on it. Pick that chipset if it is listed or a closely related video card using the same chipset. In my case, a Viper330 would work. If you still can't find one that works, check out www.xfree86.org and see if they are working on an XWindows "server" for your needs. You might also try using one of the generic chipsets like SuperVGA, etc.

I'm afraid you won't be able to use XWindows on your machine, venks. Your video is "on-board", right? SiS already stands for the chipset. It's the chip used on ASUS motherboards with built-in "on-board" video.

I've got myself one of those and I also couldn't make it work. Altough you can define the amount of memory the video chip will share from the RAM, XWindows won't find it, saying it's got 0 (zero) Kb.

 Good luck!
