constructorr needed if overrifing OnKeyPress?

Hi, I have a component created that overrides the OnKeyPress event of a TComboBox. It seems to me that there is no need to have a constructor and destructor for this component, all I would be doing is caling the inherited create and destroy. Is it ok to do this? Thanks, Tom.

Right, this is one of the best things of OOP. YOu just implement the methods and properties you actually need. All the other stuff is handled by the ancestor and does not need to be considered by your derived class.
