 Here is a freeware (cardware) one (detects internet activation just like for instance ICQ)

Hi ZifNab ! I don't get this component to work under Delphi 4.0 Standard. As the author says its just for Delphi 3.
But this is exactly what I wanted. Perhaps you know another component ?

We need the component TDialup, too. Without it online doesn't work ! Could you send it us ? The URL of the authors homepage is invalid.
