Hi, I have a MDI Application and one MDI Child Form which is
an Auto-Create Form (Not created as needed).

Every time I try and close this form, it just get's minimized.

Is there any way I can hide this form (with out destroying it) and show it back again sometime without having to create it at runtime?

thanx,

jorge

Do this:

  ShowWindow(MDIForm.handle, SW_HIDE);

Cheers,

Raymond.

Thanx raymond!

If i use what you told me to, the form minimizes.  Once it's minimized, if I close it again, it hides up fine.

what I did was to use ShowWindowAsync instead and it worked fine.

I used SW_RESTORE to show it back again!

later,

Thats odd! I wrote a little test app to try this out and the ShowWindow with SW_Hide (done in the OnClick event of a menu item) worked just fine!

Cheers,

Raymond.
