AIX manage printers thru virtual printers that are views of physical printers;
so, a request to print is queued thru the enq command (called by lp, or lpr, or enq));
queues are managed with infos on /etc/qconfig file; then qdaemon process pass the request at the virtual printer reqiested, which is connected to a physical printer (can be somewhere, even thru tcpip, a daemon lpd)

When you want to add a form-feed between jobs, you must add it on the logical printer;
you can read characteristics of logical printer with the lsvirprt command (for list virtual printers), that is an interactive program: you must choose the virtual printer you want to list;
at the beginning of the listing you will see the _Z parameter (aroud the 27th param)
here, a ! means no form feed, + means yes;

If you are familiar to this, you can edit directly the file of the logical printer (in /vas/spool/lpd/pio/custom/mame_of_virtimp)
otherwise, you must add a new virtual printer based on the already existing, just modifying the _Z parameter: the command is mkvirprt (or smit virprt to operate thru smit)
