Keeping DOS Shell Open after finish

gunn asked
Last Modified: 2013-12-03
I have a small MFC GUI application that launches a DOS shell program with CreateProcess() which processes these commands and uses fprintf(stdout,) calls to print out results, errors, warnings, etc.

Once this DOS program is finished, it immediately disappears and its hard to read (impossible) what was printed to the shell before it goes away.

Is there a way to make this spawned, finished program stay up? At least until a user hits a key, or even kills it with the 'x' close button.

I can't edit the DOS programs' code to put in a getchar() or something like that either.....
