Exchange Distribution Lists

With Exchange Server, can you add a contact that is in a public folder to a distribution list or does all of the recipients in a server based dislist have to be local recipients (eg to add external ones, they must be custom recipients)?
1 Solution
Unfortunately, Exchange server does not allow to just add external e-mail adresses to a server based distribution list. You will have to create them as custom recipients and then add them to the list.
