where to get a component ...

Here is the requirements of the compress&decompress component:
 1. affixed all the source codes especially for .dll
 2. it can compress files and directories just like WinZip.

Try choosing one from this list:

Included products : Delphi Zip, ZipTV, VCLZip, XCeedZip, Compression Plus. Abbrevia not included because it is
not 100% PKZip compatible. Chief and Fast Unzip not
included because they are not very well featured.
