FCB in DOS/NT?

How does one increase the FCB for DOS under Windows NT? And what is the max that this can be set to?

You don't need File Control Blocks under NT. NT has a different way of dealing with open files than Dos used to. Why do you need FCB's?

ASKER

We are trying to migrate a Dos legacy system using Btrieve databases to an NT environment.  When running a large report that creates temporary files we get the error:"FCB Unavailable","Abort,Fail"
The only place that you could possibly set this would be by editing the file config.nt and placing your FCBS line there and trying it again.
