asked on

displaying hebrew in a java applet

I'm using a Java applet, which should display Hebrew.
The Hebrew is displayed correctly in one version of Explorer4 I've checked, and upside-down in another.
Netscape4 displays gibberish.

One of my Parameters defines the font's face.
I tried System, Dialog, and Arial - None of them work in Netscape 4.

There is an israeli company named slangsoft, that provides an utilitar - "emule" that will deal with lots of internationalization issues (including hebrew, of course). Check out http://www.slangsoft.com.

Could you give me more info about that, too?!
Is the comment "browser bug" reffaring to Explorer versions?
Is it a bug in Netscape4, too?
