Actually, I have four question which I think an experienced Notes user will answer without problems. Thanks in advance:
1. When registering new users, we get a warning: ”The current certifier ID contains no recovery information and will not allow ID/password recovery on ID’s created with this certifier. The ’EscrowAgent’ ID recovery mechanism is no longer supported.” What does this message mean, and how can we correct it?
2. When registering new users, we choose to store the user ID in the Domino directory. When the user configure Notes for the first time, the ID is retrived and stored locally as ’user.id’. Is this now the only copy of the file (it disappears from the Domino directory) and can it be renamed later?
3. How can we create multiple email adresses (aliases), for example: ’email@example.com’ and ’firstname.lastname@example.org’, and the mail still goes to the same user/mail-file?
4. We have some problems to get our e-mails sent immediately (we have a router connection to internet.) The Domino-server tells us ’The SMTP server not available / not an internet host.’ But if we get the router to dial-up the connection by using ’ping’ or whatever, the server sends the mail immediately. How can we make the server trigger the connection itself?
