Trouble with ActiveX control in IE5.0
Hi,
I've developed an activeX control that has a GUI using MFC on VC++. It has a few buttons, select boxes, combo boxes and a grid. Everything was fine with IE4.0. But recently i've installed IE5.0 on my machine and this control just doesn't work on IE5.
There is a similar control on the microsoft site -- DlgX. I've tested this control both on IE4.0 and IE5.0. Same results.
Am i missingsomething here? Do i need to download any new library files?

What do you mean by "it just doesn't work"? It doesn't display? It displays but doesn't operate as you would expect? Please provide a bit more detail.

It displays properly. But the buttons won't respond for any clicks. All the controls seem inactive. I had the same problem with IE4.0 but found out a work around in the KB articles. The 'DlgX' sample at Microsoft site is an example of this.
Thank you
Thank you
What was the problem in IE4? I have created an ActiveX control that contains windows controls and never had this problem (in IE4).
Is your control disabled and thus will not respond to user input?
