I can't logon as a different user.

I'm new to Notes and am using 4.6. I have installed the Domino server and have set up one PC so far to logon. What I'm trying to do is to logout and login as a different user, but it always goes straight back in as the first user I accessed with and I can't find any way to change this.
Is there a method of logging on as a different user from the same workstation? Have I done something wrong on setup? There is no info in my manual or on help.
Thanks, NS.

u have to switch your user id to the other user from preferences. if u want to be able to switch to another user u have to create a location document for each user, and specify all the necessary information, like the server and the mail file name and the id file

u also have to register users, did u do that?
create another user, then u go to file-tools-switch id
u choose the other id of the user u created.

to create a new location doc, go yout personal address book, and click on locations then 'add location' and fill the necessary fields, like the mail server mail file name, u can also click on 'user id to switch to' and choose the other user's id file, so when u later switch to the location u will be not need to switch ids manually. To change a location quickly there is small box on the bottom right, if u click on it u will see a listings of all location created in your address book, if u click on one, u will switch to that location.
