I wan't my program to appear in the system tray when I start it, rather than showing up on the taskbar.
When I maximize it, and then minimize it again, is should
then return back to the system tray. In other words, it should never appear on the taskbar.

How is this done?

(BTW, I've got a component named TrayIcon which displays the program icon in the system tray, but
the program also appear on the taskbar.)

What is the best way to do this?

There is a component on DSP called SysTray which does what you want.
