SQL Error 910 in MSSQL 6.5
6.5 database generates the following error:
MSSQL error 910
"Could not allocate a new object descriptor for required system catalog in database 'x'. Another database must be closed or objects in another database dropped in order to open this database."
Open objects is set to 50,000 and the actual number of open objects is no where near that number, so this should not be occuring. This error starts out as a warning but progresses into a fatal error if continuous database inserts are performed. Have had conversations with others having this problem in 6.5 but no one seems to know why it occurs. Anyone have any thoughts?
