Windows 98 Quick Launch Tool Bar

Is there a way to organise the Win98 'Quick Launch' tool bar so that it is usable?
ie. Choose the order that short cuts appear. Add spaces or be able to devide items into some sought of order, rather than a long row of confusing icons.

Hi Jleev,

As far as I know, there is no way to add spaces to the toolbars (there should be!) however, you can reorder things on the toolbar simply by dragging them into position.  You can also create toolbars simply by right-clicking on the quick launch bar that you have.  Windows 98 has the unfortunate habbit of re-ordering things willie-nillie but you should find that you some sort of order.  Another way around the problem would be to get rid of the toolbars all together and use the Shortcut bar that come with Office97.  This does have the added bonus that you can add spaces and arrage things in groups.  ie Application, Web, Accessories etc.

Hope this helps!

Thank you for your time.
Have used Office Tool Bar for years but find it slow to load and recently has been freezing up. Thought that quick launch may be a viable alternative but with out being able to create some sought of managable order it does not seem feasable.

This question was awarded, but never cleared due to the JSP-500 errors of that time.  It was "stuck" against userID -1 versus the intended expert whom you awarded.  This corrects the problem and the expert will now receive these points; points verified.
