I want to enlarge the font size default from 10 points to 12 points.  I have not figured out how, so I ask anyone out there to please tell me how to do that.  I have a 1999 IBM Aptiva with Outlook Express for email.  When I enlarge the type, it always returns to 10 pts.

To change view while in Outlook Express:

Menu options: View/Fonts/<then appropriate size i.e. Smallest,Smaller,Medium<larger,Largest>

To change outgoing default font size:
Tools/Stationery/Font Settings (Button)/<Select the appropraite font and size>/Click OK

That should do it!

The above answer is for Outlook Express 4.X. If you have Outlook Express 5:

Menu options: Tools/Options/Font Settings (Button)/<Select the appropriate font and size>/Click OK.

Also, for either of these there is a "Mail" and a "News" tab (at top of window). Ensure that you are on the right tab when you make your selection(s).

To JMFairchild:

I guess I have Outlook Express 4X, since I did just what you said and my problem is now solved.

(I love EE.  I love it.  I love it.  There are other ways to get information, but this is be far the most fun.)
