Any 3-D programmers out there?

If so, could you tell me the going rate (salary) for an entry-level 3-D programmer?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

It depends on the country your in...

I know here in Sunny South Africa ;-) the going rate for a 3-D programmer in Open-GL and Direct-X is R13 000 - R15 000 (R = Rand)a month

And I have a friend in the States that is earning round about $5000 - $7000 a month
