Its called Apple Garamond and apple wont release it publically. Some copies have leaked out but theyre postscript, mac format, and very hard to find.
To answer your question literally - you cannot get the actual font legally - but read on. In digital form, it was originally called Aplgaram and developed as a 4 weight set by Adobe at the advent of PostScript. This was a variant based on ITC Garamond Light and Bold. In 1989/90, at the apex of the Apple/Adobe battle over type technology (the same battle that spawned TrueType), Apple contracted with Bitstream for an updated version appropriately named "Apple Garamond." This 6 weight family is frequently posted on alt.binaries.fonts in truetype for windows where it can be found.
BTW - as an aside comment - I agree - it is a great font that they use for the Apple ads - but it is a bit of an irony that you state "it must be truetype for windows"

If you want things to look like Apple, to look like they emulate mac ads,to look like they are made with a mac - get one.
