"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If you use Windows 9x, follow me :
* Do in both computers :
+ Control Panel -> Network -> Add : Client for MS Networks. Set Primary Network log on to Client for MS Networks. Click on "File and Print sharing", choose all.
-> Indentification : Computername must be different but the same workgroup in 2 PCs.
+ Double click on TCP/IP. Set TCP/IP address to : 192.1.1.1 (PC1) and 192.1.1.2 (PC2). Subnet mask in 2PCs : 255.255.255.0
You should use TCP/IP protocol for Internet connection sharing if you want.
+ Restart computers.
+ Right-click on your drives (C,D..) and choose Sharing -> Share As -> Full.
Now you can see the other PC in Network Neighborhood.
For sharing 1 Internet connection, tell me if you want to do.
