C++ Vectors and STL

Can anyone please give me an example of how can I use the STL to create a vector ?

I would like to see examples of insert and remove from the vector.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

vector (Every member function comes with a sample.)

  #include <vector>
  #include <algorithm>
  using namespace std;

  class myClass{
      // overload operator <
      // overload operator ==
// If you have char* as members, overload the copy and assignment operators as well. This is a must !
Else use string from <string> of Standard library and be carefree :)

typedef vector<myClass>  MyVector;

  int main()
  MyVector MyCollection;
      while(//there is data input )
            myClass object;
      // collection is poupulated here.
      // start using it.

  return 0;
