does anyone know where I can find some docs on the True Type font File structure

Simply put, a true type font is an outline or scaleable font. It can be displayed or printed in any size without distortion. So a font will look good in 8 pt, as it does in 800pt.

What are you trying to get? Do you need to install ttf's? Or other?
