How do you open every file in a directory one by one

This is probably child's play, but I'm new to VB:

How do you choose a directory and then open and then close every file in it one by one?  I know how to check to see if a file exists in a given directory, but I can't figure out how to open them all automatically.  They'll all be the same type of file (HTML).

(I'm doing this in VBA for Word, if it matters.)

Thanks.

The follwing code will take care of this for you :

dim MyFile as string

MyFile = Dir("C:\yourdir\*.html")

Do While MyFile <> ""   ' Start the
   Open Myfile for input as #1
   'your code
   close 1
   Myfile = Dir
loop
