Printer Margins Messed Up

My printer's lowest margins are:

Top:  0.33"
Bottom:  0.67"
Left:  0.25"
Right:  0.25"

How can I make my Top and Bottom margins .5"?  If I set my bottom margin to .5", the program either doesn't let me or it doesn't print anything below .67".

You have specified what the physical dimensions of a printed page are for your printer. Most common printers CANNOT print on the full 8.5" x 11" sheet of paper. There are physical limits to how close to the edge they can print, and you have to work within those limits when you specify margins for your document in your word processing program. There is no point in trying to make a margin smaller than what the printer can physically handle; it just doesn't work.
