IFR adaptor for Cannon BJC-1000?

I have a client that wants to print to a Canon Bubble Jet printer (BJC-1000) from a computer that has an infra red port.  However, the Canon does not have an infra red port.  It only has a parallel port.  I have heard that there are adaptors that plug into the parallel port on the printer that have an IFR port on the other end that I could aim at the IFR port on the computer.  Any ideas where I can get one of these?

The product you are looking for is made by Extended Systems.  I have been using their products for years and have had wonderful success with them.  Their website is www.extendedsystems.com.  The name of their Infared Products is JetEye.

Here is a link that will take you directly to the specific product you want:

Glad I could help.
