okipage 4w printer setup

I downloaded the driver for this printer from some website...can someone please tell me a step by step process to get the Okidata Okipage 4w printer to work on my machine...I have RH6.0...I tried Print Tool but it cant find my device.  How do I make it so the driver shows up in the list?  Thanks for your time !! :)

Add the following line to your /etc/conf.modules file:

alias parport_lowlevel parport_pc

Reboot, and re-try to add the printer through control-panel. Let us know if that works... Good luck.

Hi iharding,

That line you told me to put into conf.modules was already there...it still doesn't work when I reboot (the driver doesn't show up in the list).  Any other ideas? Thanks a lot for your help. :)
Go into control-panel, then click on the printer.  Add a new local printer, click Select next to Input Filter.  I am running  RH 6.1 and your printer is on my list.

I did that and the printer is still not in my list.  Also the auto-detection is not finding anything on dev/lp0 or /dev/lp1 or /dev/lp2...I don't know what's wrong.
