I have one sheet with Cols. A, B, C - I need the macro to look at each row in C (on Sheet 1), find corresponding data on Sheet 2 (which also has Cols. A, B C) take info from Cols. B, C and put into Cols. A, B on Sheet 1

You don't need a macro to do this use the vlookup function of excel to to do it, if you have post reject this answer and I will give you more help

I tried that and it didn't work - here is what I did
Look_upvalue  Sheet!2$A$2:$A$7000
Table_array  C2 (from sheet 1)
Col_index_num   2 (from sheet 1)
and then I tried

making information in both sheets begin A, B, C - tried vlookup - but it only return what was in Col A sheet 2

Sheet 1
Billing Name  Address   Phone

Sheet 2
Phone   Billing Name   Address

any further help will be appreciated - especially since it has so many records

I have the solution for you as a sheet email me at this address and I will mail it back as an attachment monday evening.

Send me an Email so I can send you the spreadsheet
