How to develop a internet search untility?

What I want to do is develop a search utility for finding web pages on the Net. After user type in search keyword, it queries popular Web-based search engines (like Yahoo, Looksmart,AOL,MSN,Altavista eg..) then return:

Name (web site title found contain the keyword)
Description (brief description of found site)
Address (URL link of found documents contain the keywork)
Relevance (Relevance of search result)
Source (Name of search engine (AOL,Yahoo eg..)

show a report to user.

How is it possible? any component could be used for it?

Thanks & Rgds

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Basically you have a component that comes with Delphi pro named TnmHTTP that allows you to issue get functions and bring them back in a buffer or in files.

You can also find very good freeware components in this place :

http://www.rtfm.be/fpiette/indexuk.htm

this is a start.

To be frank, I am acheiving such a program and it took me quite some time because although the components are there, to get a reliable solution is not an easy thing.

regards, marc

I forgot, all the web engines do not give a relevance information.
