Its a software error and I'm not using a modem but rather com1 (which is working fine). &nbsp;Is there a way to reinstall the TAPI components of '95 ?

Open control panel, choose the Add/remove programs icon, run it, click the windows setup tab, uncheck communications, click okay, exit control panel, reboot, put your win 95 cd in the drive, go back to control panel etc, and recheck communications, should reinstall diallup networking, hyperterminal etc.
