Setting a new admin password

I have forgotten my CF Admin password and was wondering if there is an easier way of setting a new Cold Fusion password other than reinstalling the server software.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

There is a registry entry that you can edit.

Under Win9X's windows RUN command run: Regedit
Under Xwindows run the command /opt/coldfusion/bin/regedit

From here, go to hkey_local_machine\software\allaire\coldfusion\currentversion\server
and change the UseAdminPassword key from 1 to 0.
The next time you start ColdFusion Administrator, you will go right in
w/out a password prompt.

Then you can go to the password area and set it.
