"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I give up with forms:-( It just won't work that way.

I found another way to aacomplish what i want much easier but I need help. What I now want to do is reload another frame with:

<body onLoad="parent.frames['navigation'].location.reload();">

This almost does what i need. Theres just one little bug waiting for a fix. The frame I reload is the result of a <form> and i should now repost the form data in the reload.

I wanted to reload a frame and repost the form data or execute a link or execute a query. But I now found a working solution.

<script language="javascript">
 function updateTree()
     {
     parent.frames[1].location.href=document.links[0];
     parent.frames[2].location.href=document.links[1];
     parent.frames[3].location.href=document.links[2];
      }
</script>

<a href="worldnavigation.asp"></a>
<a href="dimension.asp"></a>
<a href="dimensionSaveDone.asp"></a>

Thanks for your help, I'm giving you the points anyway
