hi,
i wrote an application just for getting familiar with delphi. the app has about 25 forms. when starting the app a splash screen should appear with 3 radiobuttons where i can choose what to do next, then the choosed forms should appear. i tried to change the properties of the childforms to invisible but delphi tells me no way....how can i ensure that only the chosen forms appear after the startscreen (the one with the radiobuttons). im sure this is quite simple, hope u can help me guys, thanks.

try the hide function instead of trying to modify the visible property.

be also aware about in what event you code it. if you code it before the forms would receive the instruction to be visible, it would be useless.

Go to Project|Options and set all secondary Forms of Auto-Create to Availble forms.
Whe the form is desired to be visible make

MyChildForm:=TChildClass.Create( Application );
MyChildForm.Show;
.....

When the Form is indesirable, make MyChildForm.Release;

If need more hints tell us.
