Is there any way to get some unique hardware ID from within MSSQL 7.0 ? I know I can do it via Windows APIs from my application. But is there anything built-into SQL 7.0, some system stored procedure or table holding some ids or whatever. This is for licencing purposes,to lock/unlock software.<br />
I do not want to wite my own Extended stored procedure to do this.<br />
