VB6, DAO, Hyperlink

I am using VB6 for a front end to an Access database, using DAO.  One of the fields in the table I need to view has the data type "hyperlink".  It works fine when opened with Access.  When I view the same field via VB6, all I get is the full text of the hyperlink, but not an actual, usable, hyperlink.  How can I make the hyperlink visible as a hyperlink in my VB6 front end? TIA.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Access has coding that makes the hyperlink active. You will have to do the same. For instance: change a labels caption to the link, and in the click event open the link. You could try putting the hyperlink into a RichTextBox, it may have the coding already.
