I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Don't you want to use the std Internet Transfer Control...

Check http://www.winfiles.com ...there are loads of FTPcontrols and some of them are even free.

There is a good (free) control called XTFtp.ocx by a guy named Brad Perkins. His web site is down right now, but I could post a couple of zip files, or e-mail if you want.

Ok, the deeper url is

http://winfiles.cnet.com/apps/nt/vb-comp.html

There are quite some...but I found out that most of them are low-cost shareware with unlimited trial period.

Anyway..never heard of the control that MoMarvi mentioned but it sounds like a good alternative...
