I got my EXE, what now???

I just finished an application and i want to bring it to work. I got my app.exe, my related files, but do i need DLL files...

I know that with previous versions of VB (EX: 3/4 that i have used) i had to bring VBrunXXX(32).dll with the exe.

It seems that i dont have to do it with VB6 (newly installed) since i tried it on my other slim somputer only containing Office97 and VBrunfiles from 100 to 400(32) and i did not receive any missing file popup!

I have coded under Win98, tested on win95(other computer) but will run under WinNT (at the job) (already tested but with vb4 compilation, not with vb6 compilation) will all this work and stilll what DLL should i Carry???

Hope you can help me... As you did before in this and other applications...

Thanks in advance!

If you use the package and deployment wizard that will help you make sure that you get all of the dependencies for your project.  Then you can just take those files and do an install to any machine you want to.
If you run the package and deployment wizard and chose file depency option it will tell you all the files need to run the app. If the target machine has these it will run if not it will bark at you for it. Hope this helps
Chances are you got lucky that all the files you needed were already on the destination system. Best bet is to make a setup package with the "Package and Deployment Wizard" so that all DLL's will be included.
