Transparent desktop icon text

Hi.

Is it possible to make the background color icon text on the desktop transparent, so that when i have a background image i dont get that annoying black square around the text, but just the background image.

If it is, how can i do it ?

Regards,
Loke

The icon text background color is set by the desktop background color. You can't give an trans background color so...
Even if you could, i asume you use a real picture or something like that it would get hard to read all your text without that border.

haven't got a clue, don't think so, since making the background color transparrent gives a strange effect since there is nothing behind it.

This registry key controls the color scheme of windows:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Colors

But, you will need to determine what scheme matches which color. If you have any other transparent color schemes anywhere on your pc, then find that key number in the above key and duplicate it.

There is another app called TRANSTEXT.

You can find it at http://www.chaossoft.com
