Try removing &amp;&nbsp;readding the Outlook Address Book service from the users' profiles (in the Control Panel's Mail applet). Once you've readded it have the user reflag their Contacts folder as an e-mail address book. Do that from here within Outlook: Right click on the Contacts folder, choose Properties, go to the Outlook Address Book tab and check the &quot;Show this folder as an E-mail address book&quot; box<br />

I recently installed Exchange 5.5 on my server and migrated my clients from version 5.0. &nbsp;My clients use Outlook 97. &nbsp;After this migration, my clients can no longer access the Outlook contacts when trying to perform mail merges with Word 97. &nbsp;An error message stating the Address Book cannot be opened is generated everytime a contact list is given as the data document. &nbsp;What is causing this problem?
