Yamaha CD writer problem

I have Yamaha CD writer, Model  : CRW4416E,

has a problem, that Windows'95 does not sense that.  I dont know whether the problem is related with Driver for the drive or Physical problem with the drive.

As of now, i just could connect the CD writer into my IDE hdd controller, Will the CD be of type IDE or SCSI, or any IDE to SCSI controller will be attached internally?

Can anybody, please tell the solution for the following things?

1) what is the CD type (SCSI or IDE)
2) Proper softwaredriver for the drive
(I have the driver provided the manufacturer but even though system does not sense)
3) Any additional info. abt the writer

E-IDE model
Read 16x/ Write 4x/ Re-Write 4x

Connect your CD Writer at your second IDE connector (motherboard).

Configuration : jumper (CDWriter) : master

No driver for Windows 95/98.  Your CDwriter appear like a CDROM reader.

Software like EZ CD creator or Direct CD support this model.
Very easy to use.
Drivers are "included" in software.

Sometimes it coulb be necessary to upgrade CDwriter internal bios.
