How can I prevent the user from reloading an 'expired' paged and how do i prevent them from going 'back' to an 'expired' page?  These pages are asp files so a javascript solution or asp code solution would be good.

Do you mean you want to stop the user from loading the page, or that you want the page to be pulled from the server every time ?

If you want the page to be pulled from the server each time, use IIS ( as you mentioned ASP ) to set the asp file to expire immediately:

Highlight the file in the Management Console, choose properties... http headers.. enable content expiration.. expire immediately.
