System Admin password reset.

How does a System Administrator reset a user's password?  I have users who forgot their passwords.  I cannot find a reset password funtion for DBAs.

You cant retrieve the forgotten passwords unless and until you have enabled the eskrow agent that keeps a copy on a mail-in-database from where you can get the old ID back.

Alternatively if you have included the id to be stored in the person document, you can retrive from that document.

Or otherwise, if the person has an old copy of his id with old password that he knows he can use that.

In any of the cases all his private encryption keys will be lost unless and until they have backedup everything then and there.

The OTHER way is to delete the person and re-register the person again.  Dont delete the mail file of the old person.  You can delegate the new person registered to the old mailfile so that he can still read the old mails.

Delegation is Adding the new user to the ACL of the old mailfile.

Cheers !
