"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Nothing changes except you have better security for Banking on-line and so forth.....

I use IE 128bit browser and it works just fine and as far as I can tell is exactly the same as the 40bit encrytion version.Been using it for about 3months no problems.

There are 2 types of browsers, the 40Bit standard "Domestic" Browser & the 128Bit "Export" browser. 32bit is in reference to how the application was written (usually 16bit or 32bit)

128 Bit is a stonger encryption that is used with the 40 Bit and cannot be moved or transmitted across US borders.

Other than security, nothing changes on the browser.

Some banking and goverenment sites require you to use the stronger encryption for your protection or the protection of sensative data.
