What OS are you using? &nbsp;If you're a &quot;total novice&quot; then I recommend a Unix like Linux (Debian or RedHad distributions) that automate all the setup, installation, and configuration for you.<br />

As a last resort, check for a README or other text file with the instructions you need.<br />

and i just "untared" the file (tar -xvf apache.tar)
